Salary:£42,000 - £45,000

Shift: Mon - Fri - Days (early finish Friday)

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for aMaintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing site in Kent. You will be responsible for carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will also oversee some basic facilities maintenance

Working on a Monday to Friday days pattern, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• . Knowledge of CMMS systems
• Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
• Ability to work a continental shift pattern

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Hands-on mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical maintenance experience (relays, sensors, drives, contactors, single, three phase).

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer.

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
