Overview

Senior Business Manager - Recruiting Finance roles in West London, Thames Valley Regions and Central London

A global market leading manufacturing business that continues to grow through acquisitions is currently looking for a Financial Controller to lead the group finance team and be responsible for production to the highest standards of consolidated, statutory and internal financial and management reports. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join a global growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the monthly reporting, consolidation and disclosure for the company
  • Lead and manage relationships with other teams to ensure outputs are delivered as scheduled
  • Lead and manage consolidated statutory account drafting process and perform primary review of output
  • Manage entity statutory account review process
  • Manage the relationship with Group auditors
  • Document owner of the Group Accounting & Procedures Policy
  • Process owner of the Group Consolidation Processes
  • Report owner of standard Group reports
  • Primary contributor for Audit Committee papers on “Audit & Control matters” and “Review of Results” sections
  • Manage the capital authorisation process
  • Responsible for controlling transactional banking for the Group
  • Manage Head Office company accounting and related processes
  • Ensure that all accounting functions are undertaken in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Corporate Policies and best practice business principles
  • Monitor, review and understand the performance of the Group
  • Assist in managing the tax position of the Group
  • Review consolidated forecasts and budget submissions
  • Review cash management reports
  • Manage a team of Group Finance Staff

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional, diligent and results driven
  • Effective communicator at all levels (verbal/written)
