Construction Senior Associate

4+ PQE | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + BonusAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join a highly regarded Construction team advising on a broad range of high-quality built environment and real estate development projects.Working alongside market-leading Real Estate, Banking, Planning and Corporate teams, you'll advise developers, investors, funders, occupiers, contractors and public sector clients on complex and high-value transactions across commercial, residential, mixed-use, logistics, regeneration and infrastructure developments.You'll be involved in:Drafting and negotiating a wide range of construction documentation.Advising on procurement strategies and project delivery structures.Negotiating building contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, guarantees and ancillary project documents.Supporting development, acquisition, disposal and financing transactions from a construction perspective.Providing commercially focused advice on risk allocation throughout the project lifecycle.Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams on major development projects.Developing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.You'll have:4+ years' PQE in non-contentious construction law.Experience advising on built environment and real estate development matters.Strong drafting and negotiation skills.Experience acting for developers, investors, funders, contractors, occupiers or public sector clients.Familiarity with industry-standard construction contracts such as JCT, NEC and ideally FIDIC.Experience negotiating construction contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, third-party rights, guarantees and related project documentation.A commercial mindset and the ability to deliver pragmatic legal advice.What's on OfferHigh-quality, market-leading construction work.Exposure to some of the UK's most significant development and regeneration projects.Genuine career progression within a growing team.Flexible hybrid working.Competitive salary and excellent bonus potential.Comprehensive benefits package.Sensible target hours with a strong focus on work-life balance.A supportive, collaborative and inclusive culture.If you're a non-contentious Construction lawyer looking to work on first-class development projects within a highly regarded team, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
