Job Description

Senior Analyst (Technical) - Permanent, Hybrid London - £70,000 to £90,000 DOE

Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.

We're recruiting a Technical Analyst on behalf of an established, employee-owned UK retail and services organisation, for a permanent position sitting within their technology delivery function.

This isn't a narrow, single-domain analyst role. You'll work across a portfolio of complex, high-change programme areas, think supply chain, customer operations, and financial services, partnering closely with delivery managers, architects and senior engineers to bring clarity to genuinely complicated, cross-functional problems. No two assignments look the same, and that's by design.

The Role

  • Work at both a strategic and detailed level simultaneously: covering breadth across multiple workstreams while going deep into the detail of individual pieces of work
  • Partner closely with delivery managers, architects and senior engineers to shape and deliver solutions
  • Facilitate workshops and bring together stakeholders across business and technology to resolve complex, interdependent problems
  • Translate complex technical detail into language the wider business can act on
  • Operate comfortably in ambiguity, in programme areas with a lot of moving parts and dependencies
  • Contribute to a growing internal AI capability, bringing curiosity and interest even if you're not an AI specialist
  • Support coaching and knowledge-sharing across the wider analyst community

What We're Looking For

Must-haves
  • Strong analyst background with genuine technical fluency, you don't need to write production code, but you need to understand what's happening technically and hold your own in that conversation
  • Proven experience working across complex, multi-stakeholder change or transformation programmes
  • Comfortable operating at both a high strategic level and deep into workstream detail, often in parallel
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable With Ambiguity And a Fluid Working PatternNice-to-haves
  • Retail, FMCG, or logistics sector background
  • Prior exposure to or interest in AI tooling and capability

What's On Offer

  • £70,000 to £90,000 depending on experience
  • Permanent Partner status with employee ownership benefits, including an annual Partner bonus
  • Hybrid working across two UK office locations, with travel expensed between them
  • Genuine breadth of exposure across some of the most complex change programmes in the business
  • Direct access to senior architects and staff engineers as part of your day-to-day
