Contract terms: PermanentLocation: Borehamwood, Herts with the opportunity for hybrid working from home for part of the week. Minimum 2 days in the officeReporting to: Digital Marketing Manager Salary:£33,000 DOEJob brief:The Website Administrator will work with the Digital Marketing Manager and wider marketing department to update and improve our Joomla website and WTP booking site. This will include continuous testing and enhancements with the objective to improve CRO and user experience.The successful candidate would ideally have experience working within a travel, tourism, or hospitality ecommerce business with rich website content. You will also be collaborating across departments including Product, IT, Sales & Support and Operations, and will be responsible for the smooth running of the website day-to-day.You will be encouraged to learn and grow with the opportunity to undertake training to support your development and understanding of our IT programs and platforms.The role:Create, edit, and optimise website content including landing pages, hero pages, products images, blogs, forms, videos, and website hierarchy. Collaborate with the Marketing and Commercial teams on campaign set-up, testing and optimisation Managing the day-to-day upkeep of the website in the CMS including:Update website inline with CRO and SEO requirements provided by the Digital Marketing ManagerChampion and implement website best practices including but not limited to tagging, copy length, accessibility and image format etcTroubleshooting and resolving ad hoc issues and bugs Using ticketing systems to log problems and keep stakeholders informed Identify and resolve user experience issues and optimise the website for each deviceContinuously monitor usability, navigation, and overall performance to enhance user experienceSupport new product development by creating product landing pages following specifications providedUnderstand and champion system integration between the website, booking system and database systemsOwn competitor website research and reporting, share key findings with Marketing teamWork with the Digital Marketing Manager to utilise Google Analytics, SEMrush and other tools to improve the website for CRO and improved user experienceImplement and report on A/B testing as and when required Use Adobe Creative Suite to design website content with the support of in inhouse Junior DesignerCollaborate with internal departments include Product Operations, Product Creative, IT, Sales & Support and Commercial.Use Monday.com or other planning tools to manage website updates and projectsCollaborate with external agencies, and developers as and when requiredAbout you:2 years’ experience in a similar role working for a travel, tourism or hospitality ecommerce business with rich website content, advantageous but not essentialCoding skillsExperience using Joomla CMS, or similar Understanding of booking systems, advantageous but not essentialExperience using Google Analytics, advantageous but not essentialExperience using and responding to insight from Hotjar, advantageous but not essentialUnderstanding of SEO and using tools like SEMrush, advantageous but not essentialComfortable working closely with internal and external colleagues and developersGood understanding of HTML and CSSAble to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlinesGood attention to detailCompany benefits:contributions with Avivamedical benefits package with MediCashfamiliarization visit to any of our country houses for you and your family (After 3 months)on-site car parkingdays holiday inclusive of bank holidays, rising to 33 days after two years (pro rata for part time contract)paid day each year to volunteer at a charity of your choicediscounts at several outdoor equipment storesdiscounts on our holidays throughout the world for you, your friends & family (Subject to availability)working with flexibility.
