Role Purpose - Full product training given

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward by developing new relationships and maintaining existing ones. Your focus will be on engaging with cycle retailers, industry brands, and professionals to raise awareness and grow our business.

Territory: NE, CA, DH, SR, TS, DL, LA, BD, BB, PR, FY, L, WN, BL.

Key Responsibilities - Business Development Manager

• Generate new business opportunities and expand the client base - Field based
• Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry and our service
• Take ownership of the full sales process from generating leads, selling the service, negotiation and closing
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and maximise account growth
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of our service and industry by working closely with our trainers and colleagues
• Attend events to network and create leads and generate new businessLet's continue carefully.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing customers
• Deliver solution-led sales presentations tailored to customer needs
• Manage your own diary and workload effectively
• Grow the territory towards a 60% account management and 40% new business
• Work closely with a supportive and approachable management team
• Focus on field sales activities with NO telesales responsibilities

Essential skills - Business Development Manager

• 3+ years of selling a service or solution-based offerings
• A track record of both account management and new business development
• Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
• A sales-driven, energetic, sociable and proactive personality, with the confidence and determination to approach new contacts and create opportunities
• A passion or basic interest for cycling is important, but this must be matched by a clear passion for sales, business development and building relationships
• Ability to communicate at all levels in an influential and persuasive manner
• Strong commercial acumen
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets
• Excellent selling skills built on trust a reliability
