Your Role

The Business Technology practice is one of the leading CIO & CMO advisory and technology innovation teams in the UK and Europe. As a Director, you will strengthen our consulting go‑to‑market in Digital Excellence, leading sales, delivery and growth initiatives in the Energy, Transition and Utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver digital transformations and embed new agile ways of working
• Embrace and drive significant value from new technologies
• Achieve better cost discipline across technology and digital investments
• Create lean, agile, market‑leading operating models
• Deliver digital solutions reliably at scale, cheaper and faster
• Create better digital experience for customers and employees
• Drive emerging technologies to support user needs and ROI
• Transform legacy architecture and embrace new technology innovations
• Maintain security and resilience of systems
• Business development – lead proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches and event hosting
• Internal contribution – develop campaigns, think‑tanks, whitepapers and practice offerings
• Learning & development – support career growth through training, certifications and knowledge sharing

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience with senior leadership on digital transformation programmes, designing/embedding operating models, and delivering new products
• Experience transforming IT and OT business functions, driving programme delivery aligned with strategic goals
• Expertise in digital delivery and innovation within Energy, Transition and Utilities sectors – Smart grid, IoT asset management, data platform modernisation, proactive monitoring, CRM for billing, field service optimisation, digital twins
• Specialised in multidisciplinary digital delivery, change management, and business adoption
• Strong facilitation skills for program planning, product vision, design thinking, strategy and road‑mapping
• Current or former senior consultant/industry professional with proven success in a matrixed organisation and ability to secure peer support for consulting solutions
• Proven track record in proposition building and delivering consulting revenue of at least £2 million per annum
