London | HybridIf you’re an Electronics Engineer who enjoys taking complex hardware from concept through to a working, tested product, this is a role worth looking at.I’m supporting a global information security technology business developing high-assurance products used by government and defence organisations to securely protect and share highly sensitive information. Due to large scale growth they are looking for 3 x Electronics Systems Engineers to join their London engineering team. The big thing they need? Genuine hands‑on experience designing and laying out high‑speed PCBs.You’ll be working on technically challenging hardware where performance, reliability and security genuinely matter, getting involved across the development lifecycle rather than being restricted to one small part of the process. What will you be doing?Designing and developing high-speed PCBs, including schematic design and layoutWorking with high-speed digital electronics and complex interfacesDeveloping and integrating FPGA-based hardwareTaking designs through simulation, prototype, board bring-up, test and troubleshootingUsing Python for automation, testing and design validationWorking across both digital and analogue electronicsCollaborating with software, systems and manufacturing engineersSupporting products through integration and into manufactureWhat are we looking for?The key requirement is proven high-speed PCB design and layout experience. We’d particularly like to speak with engineers who have worked with areas such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, SERDES, LVDS or other high-speed interfaces, with an understanding of areas such as signal integrity, controlled impedance, differential pairs and length matching.Experience with FPGA development, Python and hardware test/debug would make you particularly relevant. You don't necessarily need a defence or cybersecurity background. Engineers coming from aerospace, communications, semiconductor, instrumentation, high-performance computing or other complex electronics environments could be equally interesting. This isn't a management role. It's an opportunity for an engineer who wants to remain hands‑on technically, work on sophisticated hardware and continue developing their expertise.PackageAnnual bonusPrivate Medical InsuranceIncome protectionCompetitive annual leaveHealth cash plan#ElectronicsEngineering #PCBDesign #HardwareEngineering #FPGA #ElectronicsJobs #EngineeringJobs #HighSpeedDesign #CyberSecurity #DefenceJobs #LondonJobs
