Salary: £46,000 per annum

Location: West London

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Are you an experienced Development Manager with a passion for fundraising, stakeholder engagement and creating meaningful connections?

We are working with a well-established and highly regarded educational organisation seeking a talented Development Manager to lead fundraising initiatives, strengthen alumni and parent engagement, and help deliver ambitious long-term growth plans.

This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused Development Manager to work closely with senior leaders, supporters and volunteers, helping to secure funding that makes a genuine difference to future generations.

As the successful Development Manager , you will develop and deliver fundraising strategies, build strong donor relationships and create engaging programmes that encourage long-term support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver fundraising strategies to support bursaries, capital projects and wider organisational objectives

Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with donors and supporters

Develop and maintain a strong fundraising pipeline

Monitor fundraising performance, KPIs and reporting metrics

Build and strengthen alumni networks through events, communications and volunteering initiatives

Enhance engagement with parent communities and key stakeholders

Manage databases, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance

Coordinate alumni communications, newsletters, reunions and networking events

Support volunteer-led fundraising and community initiatives

Work closely with marketing teams to develop compelling fundraising campaigns and content

Organise donor cultivation, stewardship and engagement events

Line manage and support a Development Assistant

Manage development and fundraising budgets effectively
