Reporting to the Director, Hardware Reliability, you will play a key role within New Product Development (NPD) and sustaining engineering by applying structured reliability engineering methods.

This is a hands-on engineering role. You will work directly with hardware, data and cross-functional teams to build reliability into our products. Not from a distance, but at the bench and in the design.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Own and execute reliability test programs (HALT, ALT, vibration, thermal cycling) from planning through documented conclusion, including hands-on test setup and instrumentation

Lead root cause analysis for electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical failures

Drive DFMEA activities in NPD teams: facilitate sessions, track open mitigations, and close them with engineering evidence

Maintain and continuously improve the FRACAS process; extract trends from field, warranty and service data and translate them into actionable engineering improvements

Perform component and assembly lifetime assessments, work directly with suppliers on reliability requirements and qualification data

Provide clear, traceable technical documentation and present findings and recommendations to engineering teams

Act as the go-to reliability resource on cross-functional NPD programs. Not in a consulting role, but as an active engineering contributor with accountability for outcomes

The essential requirements of the job include:

Degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or related engineering discipline

Hands-on experience in reliability testing and failure analysis. You have personally run tests, torn down hardware, and identified root causes

Solid working knowledge of reliability methods: FMEA/DFMEA, FRACAS, Weibull analysis, accelerated life testing

Comfortable with data analysis tools (Excel, Python or similar) and able to draw defensible engineering conclusions from field and test data

Structured, ownership-oriented problem solver. You close problems, not just document them

Able to work independently and drive progress without close supervision

Clear, factual communication in English
