We're looking for an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our team in Huddersfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real IT environment while working towards a recognised qualification and learning from experienced professionals.
Whether you're the person friends and family call when their technology isn't working, have built your own PC, enjoy gaming, or simply love learning about technology, we'd love to hear from you.
No previous IT work experience is required. We're looking for potential, enthusiasm, and a genuine willingness to learn.
The Role: As an IT Apprentice, you'll work closely with experienced colleagues to support users, maintain IT systems, and help resolve day-to-day technical issues.
This is a varied role that will give you exposure to a wide range of technologies and provide an excellent foundation for a long-term career in IT.
Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you'll work towards a Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship qualification.
Key Responsibilities: Provide IT support to users via telephone, email, and service desk systems.
Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Support users with Microsoft 365 applications and business systems.
Assist with user account administration and password management.
Help maintain IT equipment and ensure systems are running efficiently.
Support software installations, updates, and routine maintenance.
Contribute to IT projects and system improvements.
Follow IT security policies and best practices.
Record support requests and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Escalate complex issues to senior members of the team where required.
