FLT Driver - Wigan

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver to join our well-established client based in Wigan .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as a Forklift Truck Operator .

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00

Friday 08:00 to 14:00

Pay Rate:

£12.90 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

As an FLT Driver , your duties will include:

Operating FLT trucks to pick and replenish stock

Supporting the packing team with preparing orders for dispatch

Stacking and wrapping pallets

General warehouse housekeeping duties

Breaking down and disposing of cardboard and warehouse waste

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Following all health and safety procedures

Carrying out general cleaning and tidying duties as required

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be successful as an FLT Driver are:

Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance Licence

Hard-working, reliable and punctual approach to work

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good attention to detail

Positive attitude and willingness to support warehouse operations

Desirable Experience:

Previous warehouse experience

Experience operating Reach trucks within a fast-paced warehouse environment

Experience working to productivity targets

Training:

Full site training provided

Ongoing support throughout your assignment
