The work goes straight into live, production systems that real users depend on, in a sector where reliability and security are non-negotiable.The RoleWe're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join on a 6-month contract, integrating LLM's and broader AI capabilities into production-grade software. You'll work as part of a cross-functional team, translating complex product requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions, building AI that works, not just AI that demos well.What You'll Be DoingDesign, build, and deploy production-grade AI softwareApply emerging AI architecture patterns - RAG, agentic workflows, evals, fine-tuning, LLM orchestration directly into the productCollaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ship technical solutions at paceEnsure the reliability and scalability of AI-powered features in a demanding, high-availability production environmentContribute to raising AI engineering practices and standards across the teamWhat We're Looking For3+ years professionally developing products involving AI, LLMs, or applied machine learning/data science, with proven experience deploying models or AI systems into productionDeep understanding of AI/ML architectures and patterns: RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evals, LLM orchestration, or equivalent applied ML/data science methodsPython and/or TypeScriptComfortable working in a fast-paced envrionemtActive UK SC Clearance required The Details6-month initial contract, outside IR35Fully remoteCompetitive day rate, DOEImmediate/near-term startIf you're SC cleared and have genuine, hands-on experience shipping AI, ML, or data science work into production, we'd love to hear from you.
