Junior Front Office Quant Developer

We are recruiting for a leading global investment bank on a high-impact front office role within their trading environment in London. The team is looking for someone to work directly alongside traders, providing hands‑on support and development expertise on a critical risk and pricing platform.

You will be embedded on the trading floor, working in close proximity to traders, quants, and structurers in a fast‑paced and highly demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide real‑time support to traders on a core risk and pricing application

Develop and enhance functionalities in a Java‑based environment

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues under time pressure

Liaise directly with front office stakeholders (traders, quants, structurers)

Interact with global development teams to improve system performance and stability

Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools used for risk monitoring and pricing

Required Skills & Experience

Strong programming skills in Java or another object‑oriented language

Solid understanding of financial markets and products

Previous experience within a banking environment is required

Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate in a front office setting

Fluent English (spoken and written)

Strong academic background with a degree in a quantitative field

Profile
