We're looking for outstanding DevOps Engineers to develop, build, and maintain our digital services, steering our strategy and championing data-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain digital services in a DevOps environment.
• Implement automation and support continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver solutions.
• Support and improve infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.

Skills and Experience

• Experience with Unix/Linux systems administration and automation scripting (Shell, Python).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices in Agile Scrum teams.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Ability to design, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
• Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary Agile teams.

Additional Information

Location options include Manchester, Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle with flexible working arrangements. Compensation up to £58,347, with a civil service pension, generous leave, and various benefits focused on work-life balance.
