Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

This is a key role within the Finance Team, providing strong financial leadership, oversight and commercial insight across the site.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, leading the month-end close process, maintaining robust financial controls and supporting the wider business with meaningful analysis and financial insight. You’ll work closely with operational and senior leadership teams, providing clear financial information to support effective decision-making and business performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is commercially minded. Advanced MS Excel skills are essential, alongside strong experience in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial control. Quick snapshot of the Financial Controller role:

* Take ownership of the site finance function, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting. Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring all reporting is completed accurately and within divisional, group and corporate deadlines.

* Review and analyse financial performance, providing clear insight into key trends, risks, opportunities and variances. Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, P&L reviews, balance sheet analysis, bridge analysis and wider management reporting.

* Lead the budgeting and rolling forecasting processes, working closely with operational stakeholders to develop robust financial plans and forecasts. Provide financial analysis and modelling to support business planning, investment decisions and operational performance.

* Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, including review of journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, depreciation and balance sheet reconciliations.
