Junior Project Manager – Network/Infrastructure

Job Description

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established specialist ICT consultancy, who advise, design, supply and implement IT solutions to clients within the built environment across the UK.

As part of their planned growth, they are looking to add a Junior Project Manager to their team to deliver high-quality ICT design and project management across education, healthcare, custodial and commercial sectors. The role would suit an ICT professional with a background in technology infrastructure, networking or project delivery, who is keen to develop their technical skills and progress into project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and delivery of ICT infrastructure and technology projects.
  • Work with major contractors, government bodies and client stakeholders to manage resources, relationships and delivery on time and within budget.
  • Produce clear technical designs, documentation and project deliverables.
  • Conduct technical audits of existing client systems and infrastructure.
  • Monitor project resources, budgets, timescales and dependencies.
  • Ensure projects meet client expectations, regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a Network/Infrastructure/Technical Engineer OR a Junior Project Manager/Project Engineer with an understanding of networks and infrastructure.
  • Experience of working on technical implementations with a high degree of compliance, ideally within public sector environments.
  • Exceptional numeracy, communication, documentation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively with other third parties.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
