Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Engineer with supervisory experience to join our Bromborough client on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing an engineering and maintenance function, including but not limited to planned preventative maintenance, testing and repairs covering a wide range of equipment, services, systems and buildings on a large manufacturing site.What you can expect:Salary: £60,303 per annumMonday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm with a 30minute unpaid lunch break25 days annual leave plus statutory holidaysLocated in BromboroughOpportunity to work within a large manufacturing environmentFree on-site car parkingPlus, additional benefits such as EAP, cycle to schemeWhat you will be doing:Manage all shift and day engineers and engineering activitiesWork to and promote a positive H&S cultureEffectively manage the PPM schedule on site, covering all Extrusion related equipmentPlan and execute daily preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspectionsAssist with fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situationsEnsure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst maintaining all PPM schedulesSupport project development and practice continuous improvementFully engage with the operations team to provide proactive support to the plant and equipmentOrganise the team and respond promptly to any unplanned maintenance issues or repairsDemonstrate tenacity in approach to incident management and actively pursue investigations to identify root causesEffectively involve specialists to resolve complex issuesWhat we are looking for:Will have a time served apprenticeship (or equivalent) and have a recognised qualification in a related discipline (or equivalent)Multi-disciplinedSupervisory experience within an engineering/maintenance functionExperience using Lean and Six Sigma toolsFlexible, organised, highly motivated and driven with the ability to prioritise own workloadPossess strong intellect and good logical fault-finding analysis capabilitiesDemonstrate the ability to make decisions and empower people to drive actions forwardResults orientated, with ability to deliver results in a rapidly changing environmentProactive and dynamic approach to health, safety and environmental situationsYou must be able to provide proof of your eligibility to work in the UK to apply for this role.
