As they continue to expand their advanced analytics and AI capabilities, they're looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join their growing team in Farnborough.This is an opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical challenges where Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), Graph Technologies, and advanced analytics are helping solve real-world operational problems.What You'll Be DoingDesigning and developing AI and Machine Learning solutions to support Defence and National Security programmesBuilding and deploying Large Language Model (LLM) applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecturesDeveloping solutions leveraging graph databases and knowledge graph technologies to uncover complex relationships and patternsApplying statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modelling techniques to large-scale datasetsWorking with structured and unstructured data sources to deliver actionable intelligence and insightsCollaborating with software engineers, architects, and product teams to operationalise AI solutionsSupporting the evaluation, testing, and optimisation of AI models within secure environmentsContributing to AI strategy, innovation, and research initiatives across the organisationWhat We're Looking ForActive SC ClearanceExperience working as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, AI Engineer, or similar roleStrong Python development skills and experience with modern data science librariesHands‑on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and prompt engineeringExperience designing and implementing RAG solutionsKnowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, TigerGraph, or similarExperience developing machine learning and predictive analytics solutionsStrong understanding of data modelling, data pipelines, and data engineering principlesFamiliarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCPExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied stakeholdersKnowledge of Knowledge Graphs and Graph AnalyticsExperience working within Defence, National Security, Government, or highly regulated environmentsExposure to MLOps and model deployment practicesExperience with vector databases and semantic search technologiesUnderstanding of AI governance, ethics, and security considerationsWhat's on OfferHybrid working from FarnboroughOpportunity to work on genuinely impactful Defence and National Security programmesAccess to cutting‑edge AI technologies and researchProfessional development and training supportCompetitive salary, bonus, pension, and benefits packageIf you're passionate about AI, LLMs, Graph Technologies, and applying data science to solve complex real-world challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
