Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to quotation and sale.
Meet, present and demonstrate products to prospective clients.
Work with production team to ensure that machine specification, lead times, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and site installation dates are realistically achievable.
Regularly receive training for full understanding of all product types and company processes.
Enhance and promote company products and presence in the marketplace via media platforms, website and direct company contact.
Maintain and improve relationships with existing clients or use existing or available databases to communicate with potential clients for all product types.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Regularly present revenue reports and realistic sales forecasts to the management team.
Skills and Qualifications:
Successful previous experience selling labelling or packaging machinery and consumables as a sales representative or sales manager, constantly meeting or exceeding targets.
Have an understanding or previous hands-on experience in engineering/packaging/labelling machine projects.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence decision makers.
Computer literate including understanding and current use of CRM tools and common media platforms.
Flexibility to cope with new and changing demands of the position.
Ability to work as part of a team, show initiative and work independently.
Full clean driving licence for UK travel as and when required.
