Metalis Recruitment are working alongside an Engineering company who are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team in Nottingham.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Good understanding of Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
Engineering maintenance and servicing of site equipment. Including but not limited to air handling equipment, compressors, Multiple and various rotating drums, Large ovens, Fiber opening equipment, ventilation systems, motors, burners, hydraulic presses and cutting systems.
Focus on maintaining the manufacturing equipment and site utilities to ensure continuous and safe operation.
The main goal will be to resolve any/all issues in a timely manner.
Reduce downtime and suggest improvements to avoid further disruption and improve and innovate.
Engineering maintenance and servicing of site equipment
Engineering maintenance for the building.
Keep track of stock and spares to ensure parts are in place as and when needed
Undertake training for new skills and tasks in line with Personal Development Plans
Proactive approach to fault finding, prevention and continuous improvement

Shifts & Salary:
8 Hour Shifts, Rotating Days & Afternoons
Days 6am - 2pm
Afternoons 2pm - 10pm
40 hours per week + Overtime when required
1 Weekend required working a month
12 Week Temporary - Permanent Contract
Requirments:
Experience with 3-phase electrical systems
Welding and fabrication experience required
Identify electrical faults. Read and work from circuit diagrams
This job role will require someone to have a keen to work attitude.
Commit to ensuring production lines are active through overtime if needed.
Previous experience in a fast-paced hands-on production environment preferred.
Flexibility when weekend production requires maintenance cover on site.
Knowledge of process automation equipment including PLC system such as Siemens is preferred, on the job training provided.
Impeccable time management is essential
To participate in meetings/trials where engineering input is required.
