The Company:

Our client is one of the UK’s manufacturers and supply specialists, providing an end-to-end service, including concept design, product sourcing, delivery, installation, and aftercare, to the following sectors: Healthcare, Education/Higher Education, Government and Corporate.

The Role:

As a vital member of the business’s Sales function, you play a crucial role in providing exceptional support for both internal accounts and Account Managers. Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, your contribution ensures the seamless execution of a customer’s order, from the initial query to quotation, and follow-up customer service. This involves ensuring client satisfaction and achieving assigned account objectives.

Key responsibilities:

Work collaboratively within a shared services team to support both internal accounts and Account Managers, managing day-to-day client account services, obtaining necessary information, producing accurate quotes, and assisting in account retention and growth opportunities, through a variety of methods including emails, phone calls, and Teams meetings.

Arrange and conduct on-site and off-site customer meetings, both in person and virtually, depending on customer requirements.

Gather accurate information to create project/design briefs from customers.

Collaborate with the Design team to produce market-leading responses.

Assist with actioning marketing leads and opportunities linked to internal accounts.

Specify suitable products based on customer briefs and budgets, maintaining margin levels in line with business objectives.

Utilise internal systems to generate accurate quotes in line with company standards.

Update and maintain internal CRM and Sales systems to required standards for all customer account records and all quotes that you have produced.

Keep in-house and supply chain product knowledge up to date.

Address ad hoc enquiries from all customer accounts and redirect where appropriate.

Adhere to internal SLAs and communicate any delays appropriately.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Enthusiastic and energetic candidate with a positive, customer-first mindset.

Relevant experience in similar roles, including sales support and customer services.

Furniture industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Passionate about delivering a great customer experience and managing customers end-to-end.

Proactive mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond.

Excellent communication skills, engaging with external clients and various internal departments.

Flexible approach to workload, prioritising in line with business needs.

Demonstrate a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.

Strong organisational skills and time management.

Computer literate, including Microsoft Office, with experience in HubSpot being advantageous.

Ability to travel in line with business and customer requirements.
