About the Role:

The companysDesign Engineers areresponsiblefor technicalprojectdelivery of hydraulicsystems.Their dutiesaretodesign,plananddeliverprojectstomeet customerneeds.Thescopeoftheengineeringbuilds may include hydraulic power units, control consoles, bespoke hydraulic systems, and manifolds.

They are looking for a motivated and capable Project Design Engineer to join their engineering team and support the delivery of industrial hydraulic projects from initial customer requirements through to design, manufacture, testing, commissioning and final project completion.

The successful candidate will have relevant engineering design experience and a practical understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical/control systems. You will be involved in developing engineering solutions, producing drawings and hydraulic schematics, carrying out engineering calculations, selecting and sizing components and supporting projects through the manufacturing and testing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and clarify customer requirements and develop suitable engineering solutions.

Produce engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and technical documentation.

Carry out engineering calculations and select and size appropriate components.

Prepare technical specifications and support the preparation of quotations.

Work with suppliers and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
