Ruby Developer

Do you want to work on project’s doing huge social good?

Our customer is currently looking for a Senior Ruby Developer who is ready to take on ownership and contribute to the technical architecture and future of the product. You’ll be joining a team of 8 developers who care about testing and code quality.

The work is very varied; sometimes you could be focussing on better DevOps processes and backend improvements. Other days you could be building new services with CSS & JS. It’s a great role for a senior Ruby Developer who likes variation in their work, That being said if you prefer to just focus on the backend that’s fine as well..

As a Senior Ruby Developer you will be given freedom to help drive this multi-award-winning health tech company forward. You will be experienced working in a very agile fashion, reviewing tools and practices as you go.

So what do you need as a Senior Ruby Developer?

• Minimum of 3 years recent experience with Rails & TDD
• It would be great if you are a true believer in TDD
• Comfortable working with a remote team
• Experience of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Good at communicating across the business
• Enjoys collaborating with other developers to build maintainable and elegant code
