Head of Practice - Data Engineering, Data Architecture & Consultancy at Eden Smith Group

Database Administrator (SQL Focussed) - 18 month FTC

Salary up to £50,000 per annum, plus generous benefits package

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-known organisation in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining the organisation's data environments with SQL server or Azure Data services.
Managing the security and maintenance of the data systems.
Delivering projects both within IT and as part of the company's wider transformation functions.

Skills Required:

Extensive experience in working as a DBA and Data Developer within the MS Stack.
Skills and experience in the following:
TSQL.
MS stack supportive solutions such as SSIS and SSRS.
SPROC and Function development to support the SQL environment.
Azure SQL, Azure Analytics, Dataverse or similar solutions, or a willingness to learn and develop.
Excellent data analytical skills and the ability to reverse engineer legacy data structures.
An ability to quickly build relationships with customers or stakeholders.
