Are you an experienced Engineering Manager ready to take ownership of an engineering function and make a real impact on site performance?

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team within a busy manufacturing environment, driving reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement across the site.

The Role

Lead, develop and support the engineering team

Own the site's planned preventative maintenance strategy

Drive improvements in reliability, efficiency and productivity

Support the team with breakdowns when required

Manage engineering budgets and external contractors

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Work closely with Operations to maximise site performance

Maintain high standards across quality, engineering and food safety

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in an Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager role

Strong mechanical engineering knowledge

Excellent fault-finding skills

Good understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs

Experience managing teams, contractors and budgets

A proactive, hands‑on approach to engineering and improvement

Strong CMMS and computer skills

Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent
