ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Ludlow
Salary: £48,000
Shift: 4 on, 4 off – 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
Shift Pattern: 2 weeks of nights followed by 2 weeks of days
Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Electrical Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business, working within a fast-paced production environment with a strong focus on reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production and site equipment. You will play a key role in responding to breakdowns, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and ensuring machinery is operating at maximum efficiency.
Working closely with the production and engineering teams, you will be expected to identify recurring faults, implement effective solutions and contribute towards continuous improvement across the site.
Sector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience carrying out planned preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance within a fast-paced production environment.
Recognised Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
Experience working with production machinery and industrial equipment.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
Experience working with CMMS or maintenance management systems.
PLC fault-finding and interrogation experience would be advantageous.
Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering and production team.
Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
