At Bright Futures, we champion the potential of every person with autism and a learning disability, believing wholeheartedly in their ability to thrive and lead the most fulfilling lives. We're looking for passionate and caring Support Workers to join our specialist home in Rixton, Warrington.
Our Rixton Children's home is a large detached home surrounded by scenic countryside, but is still within reach of the town centre. This home supports four children aged 7-18 with a diagnosis of autism and learning disabilities. The children that live in the home enjoy gymnastic clubs, swimming, cinemas, arcades, bowling, trips to local park and beaches as well as day trips to funfairs and waterparks, so every day is different and exciting.
As a Support Worker, you will be a key part of their day-to-day support team, actively valuing and amplifying what matters to them, planning fulfilling activities. You will also keep records of their needs, support provided and progress.
No two days are the same, you could be supporting someone to settle into their new home, develop independence and life skills, enjoy activities they love, or achieve important milestones. You'll be part of a supportive team creating a safe, positive, and empowering environment where people can truly thrive.
You will help to create a warm, stimulating environment whilst working a mix of day shifts and sleeps to meet individual needs.
You'll do more than provide care – you'll be a mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement, helping the people you support to achieve the best outcomes.

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or be willing to work towards it.
Passionate about person-centred care.
Positive and proactive.
