The successful candidate will combine strong technical engineering experience with programme management and senior leadership skills, supporting the development and delivery of new products while driving improvements across the engineering function.Permanent PositionSalary: £60,000–£70,000 (DOE)Monday to FridayOxfordshireJob DescriptionLead engineering and product development programmes from concept through to production and deliveryManage engineering projects, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsProvide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering and design teamsSupport the development and implementation of SolidWorks PDM systems, including document management, revision control, and engineering data processesWork closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to ensure successful product developmentDrive continuous improvement across engineering processes, systems, and product development activitiesManage project priorities, resources, risks, and key programme milestonesProvide senior leadership across the engineering function and contribute to wider business strategyEssential Experience / Skills / QualificationsStrong background as a Design Engineer with significant experience within an engineering or manufacturing environmentProven Project Management or Programme Management experienceExperience leading product development projects from concept through to productionExperience implementing or managing SolidWorks PDM systemsStrong understanding of mechanical design and engineering processesPrevious senior leadership or management experience within an engineering environmentExcellent project planning, organisational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholdersCommercially aware with the ability to balance technical, programme, and business requirements
