Job Description

Programme Release Manager

Drive the success of complex ERP and SaaS transformations

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Programme Release Manager to take ownership of release planning, coordination, and governance across large-scale ERP transformation programmes and integrated SaaS ecosystems.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of delivery—ensuring that releases across platforms such as Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, ADP, Concur, and ServiceNow are executed seamlessly, on time, and with minimal risk to business operations.

You’ll work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, testing functions, change teams, and SI partners to create a unified, controlled, and high-quality release approach across the programme.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead end-to-end release planning and governance across complex transformation programmes

Own and maintain the integrated release roadmap, aligning multiple workstreams and vendors

Coordinate cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-release stabilisation

Drive risk management, change control, and release readiness activities

Ensure alignment across technical, business, testing, and change teams

Oversee regression cycles, deployment planning, and environment readiness

Manage multiple concurrent releases within a fast-paced, multi-vendor ecosystem

Champion consistent, scalable, and compliant release management processes

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in Release Management, Programme Delivery, or Environment Management within large enterprise environments

Strong track record delivering releases across ERP platforms (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Workday, Dynamics)

Hands‑on experience with SaaS platforms such as ADP, Concur, ServiceNow, or similar

Deep understanding of:

Release governance & controls

Change management & risk mitigation

Cross‑functional coordination in complex programmes

Experience with cutover, go‑live, and integrated deployment planning

Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, or enterprise change systems

Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills—able to align teams and drive delivery

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe are highly desirable

Why This Role?

This is a high-impact position where you’ll play a critical role in the success of major transformation programmes. You’ll operate at the centre of delivery, influencing stakeholders, shaping release strategy, and ensuring complex systems go live smoothly and successfully.
