Company Overview: Our company specializes in providing comprehensive fire safety solutions across the UK. From fire risk assessments to passive and active fire protection, we are committed to ensuring the safety of our clients’ premises. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Site Manager to join our team.
Role Summary: As a Site Manager , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing fire protection projects in the Stevenage area. Your responsibilities will include:
Fire Risk Assessments : Conduct thorough fire risk assessments for various types of buildings.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and recommend necessary improvements.
Passive Fire Protection : Supervise the installation of fire-resistant materials, such as fire doors, fire-resistant partitions, and fire-stopping systems.
Collaborate with contractors and ensure quality workmanship.
Active Fire Protection : Manage the installation and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems.
Coordinate with engineers and technicians to ensure timely inspections and repairs.
Health and Safety : Prioritize health and safety on-site.
Oversee adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
Experience : Previous experience in site management within the fire protection industry.
Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with passive fire protection materials and active fire suppression systems.
Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and clients.
Problem-Solving Attitude : Proactive approach to resolving challenges on-site.
Full UK Driving License : Regular travel to project sites is required.
