Duties include preparation of VAT returns for sole traders and micro limited companies, and aspects of cloud based bookkeeping processes for clients (predominantly QuickBooks).
What you will do in your working day
All aspects of cloud based bookkeeping processes for clients (predominantly QuickBooks).
Preparation of VAT returns for sole traders and micro limited companies.
Support with preparation of accounts.
Dealing with client queries in an efficient and friendly manner.
Actively work as part of the team.
Some administration and support duties may be required.
The training you will be getting
You will be enrolled on the Assistant Accountant Level 3 Standard, which includes 6 AAT exams, in addition to the Synoptic Assessment as part of the End-Point Assessment process.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
The team are keen to progress apprentices through the levels of AAT, and on to higher levels of study as agreed through Professional Development Plans. If you show the capability and willingness to progress, you too will have the opportunity to progress to Chartered status, eventually taking on more complex clients.
