HGV Class 1 driver
*At least 6 months road experience on Class 1 required*
*Peak time contract*
*Shifts only between Friday and Monday*
24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 driver on behalf of our client in Reading (RG2).
We require HGV Class 1 driver to work until 19th December 2026. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to a client stores throughout the UK. Your day will generally consist of up to 3 drops and 1-2 collections.
HGV Class 1 driver will require:
Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
MUST have at least 6 months experience on Class 1
HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:
Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
Long term ongoing position
Friday to Monday shifts only
Day drivers – 03:00 – 09:00 starts
Night drivers – 13:00 – 17:00 starts
Immediate start available
Additional shifts might be available
HGV Class 1 driver will receive:
PAYE Dynamic rates
Days £20.21 per hour
Nights £22.23 per hour
Saturday £26.93 per hour
Sunday £29.43 per hour
OT weekdays after 8hrs £24.53 per hour
