Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Maintenance

Job Type Permanent Monday to Friday 8 hour shift rotation

Location Derbyshire - easy access

38-hour week.

Industry: Global Manufacturer - general manufacturing environment with process, conversion and packaging

Our client is a large Global manufacturer with a global footprint. It is an established site with an established large, high-performing engineering team. Staff retention is excellent. Training, development, and support are provided on a manufacturing site. You will help the site make high-quality processed products. There is a variety of technical challenges ready for you to work on,

Key Responsibilities – Electrical Engineer - Maintenance

  • Your new challenge will be providing effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production.
  • Leading electrical and instrumentation, repair, and working with a CMMS.
  • Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes of electrical engineering faults
  • Design, trial, and implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance
  • Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.

Qualifications & Requirements – Electrical Engineer - Maintenance

  • Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering
  • Manufacturing Industry experience, ideally process and packaging expereince but open to industry
  • PLC experience preferred
  • A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
