Marketing Admin

Job Description

About Kord

Kord is an FCA-regulated fintech delivering KYC, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), identity verification, and payments infrastructure to regulated businesses across the UK. We sit at the intersection of compliance, fintech, and trust, helping companies verify who they are dealing with quickly and reliably.

Our client base continues to grow exponentially. Enquiry volumes are rising, and our product surface is becoming more complex. It's a genuinely exciting time to join us, and this role sits right at the heart of that growth.

The opportunity

We're looking for a Marketing Admin to work closely with our Head of Marketing, supporting the day-to-day running of the marketing function while helping to shape it as we scale.

This is a brilliant first step for someone starting out in their marketing career. You'll get broad, hands-on exposure across the full marketing mix, from campaigns and content to events and brand, all within a fast-growing fintech environment. You won't be pigeonholed into one narrow task. Instead, you'll learn by doing, take on real responsibility early, and grow alongside the business.

We're after someone with initiative, a can-do attitude, and a genuine willingness to take ownership of tasks, big or small.

What you'll be doing

Social media

  • Scheduling and posting content across Kord's social channels

  • Supporting with content creation where needed

  • Contributing to strategy and analysing performance

Admin and process

  • General day-to-day marketing admin support for the Head of Marketing and the wider team

  • Owning and organising the marketing space in Confluence, keeping it current and easy for the team to actually use

  • Creating and maintaining processes and documentation, so how we do things lives in a shared space rather than in someone's head

Inbox and communication

  • Managing and responding to routine emails directly

  • Spotting what actually needs the Head of Marketing's attention and flagging it clearly, with context, rather than passing everything upward

Events

  • Helping to plan, organise and run events, from logistics to on-the-day support

Sourcing and procurement

  • Ordering and managing company merchandise (mugs, water bottles, tote bags and similar)

  • Sourcing suppliers, vendors and quotes for marketing projects as they come up

CRM hygiene

  • Keeping HubSpot clean and accurate: contacts, lists, deduplication and tagging

Research and trend watching

  • Tracking industry news, competitor activity and market trends relevant to conveyancing, regulated firms and fintech

  • Turning that research into something useful for the team, such as a regular roundup

Early-stage thinking

  • Sitting in on brainstorms and contributing ideas, not just taking notes

  • Acting as a thinking partner in early campaign and content development

General

  • Supporting with brand consistency across materials, channels and touchpoints

  • Helping to keep marketing projects and timelines on track

  • Taking on ad hoc tasks and projects as the team and business needs evolve

What we're looking for

  • Someone at the start of their marketing career, keen to learn and grow

  • A proactive, organised approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Comfortable juggling a few things at once, and happy to get stuck into the details

  • A genuine interest in fintech, compliance, or financial services

Nice to have

  • An undergraduate degree in marketing, business or management

  • Some exposure to digital marketing (social media, email marketing, content, and so on)

  • A background or interest in fintech

Why join Kord

  • Join a growing, FCA-regulated fintech at an exciting stage of its journey

  • Work directly alongside the Head of Marketing, with real mentorship and exposure

  • Broad, varied experience across the marketing function, ideal for building a strong foundation

  • Genuine opportunity for growth as the company and the marketing function scale

Kord is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.

Kord is a London-based fintech helping regulated businesses including law firms, conveyancers, and estate and lettings agents manage identity checks, compliance, client onboarding, and payments from one platform

Founded in 2019 by James Owusu, Kord (formerly known as Checkboard) was built to bring together processes that are often handled by separate systems and teams, cutting out manual work and reducing the risk of fraud along the way.

We work with firms handling high-value, high-stakes transactions, particularly in property and legal services, giving them the tools to onboard clients and process payments quickly, securely, and with confidence.

It's a fast-moving space, and we're growing quickly alongside it, which means plenty of opportunity for the people who join us to make a real impact.
