About the role
TimePlan Education are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools in Surbiton. We have a number of day to day, part time and full-time opportunities available in welcoming and supportive schools.
These roles are ideal for candidates who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development and are looking for a consistent, long-term position within education.
Key responsibilities
* Support children's learning and development in the classroom
* Work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons
* Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support behaviour management and encourage positive behaviour
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children's learning and development
* Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive practice
* Childcare Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (desirable but not essential)
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Confident supporting behaviour management strategies
