Job description:
Our Product Developers are responsible for the early-stage development of concepts through to the handover to the Industrialisation team.
Development and delivery of recipes, paperwork and samples to exceptional and consistent standards.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed in a timely, accurate manner
Ensure on a day to day basis the smooth running of the Test Bakery facility with regards to raw materials and equipment
Maintain product workbooks to track and trace developments for all samples.
Work with the Test Bakery team to drive development of existing and new raw materials and support the Industrialisation team in their implementation.
Own and drive Department related projects to the required standard and outcome (allocated as per requirements)
How to be successful in the role and at FBC
Ideally chef trained experience (Pastry, Bakery) but not essential.
Knowledge of Bakery raw materials
Experience in a commercial kitchen environment
Passion for creativity and innovation
Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality samples and concepts
Proven track record in maintaining good working relationships
Willingness to commute to different site as and when required
