We are working on behalf of a well-established main contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of refurbishment projects across schools, industrial, office, and healthcare environments.

This is a key role within the business, offering autonomy, variety, and long-term stability with a contractor known for repeat business and strong client relationships.

The Role

Managing 2–5 live refurbishment projects concurrently

Project values typically ranging from £1m to £5m

Full responsibility from pre-construction handover through to completioni

Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain performance

Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards

Maintaining strong client relationships, particularly in live and occupied environments

Regular reporting to senior management

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with a main contractor

Strong background in refurbishment / fit-out projects

Experience working in education, healthcare, commercial or industrial sectors

Excellent commercial awareness and programme control

Strong leadership and communication skills

Salary on Offer

Salary up to £90,000 + car / allowance
