Job Description

Private Client Senior Solicitor - Birmingham / Manchester

Private Wealth - Principal/Senior Associate Solicitor - This National law firm are seeking a talented Solicitor to join its reputable Private Wealth team in Birmingham. This role focuses on non-contentious matters, providing high-quality legal advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Location: Birmingham / Manchester

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to £85,000

Previous Experience: 6+ PQE with Expertise in advising on HNW/UHNW estate planning and relevant tax legislation

A Leading team

You will be part of a reputable team engaging in high quality work and acting for prestigious clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising clients on lifetime and estate tax planning, inheritance tax mitigation, and estate administration.
  • Drafting Wills, forming trusts, and providing guidance on trust taxation and administration.
  • Work on the formation and taxation of family investment companies (experience preferred but not essential).
  • Collaborate with financial advisers, accountants, and investment managers for tailored, holistic advice.
  • Engage in business development activities, and develop specialisms in the team's practice areas.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently.
  • Experience in advising on estate planning and tax legislation.
  • Knowledge of trusts and their establishment, taxation, and administration.
  • S/TEP qualification is desirable but not essential
