React Native Developer

We are looking for an React Native Developer for an 12 Month Day Rate Contract on a hybrid basis in Belfast . Deloitte is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative mobile solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications while collaborating closely with product owners, UX designers, architects, and backend engineering teams. What you'll do Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications using React Native. Build reusable components and scalable front-end architectures. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services. Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience across iOS and Android platforms. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions. The skills you'll need: Strong commercial experience developing mobile applications using React Native. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Solid understanding of React concepts including Hooks, Context API, and state management. Experience with state management frameworks such as Redux, MobX, or React Query. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. Strong knowledge of mobile application lifecycle, deployment, and release processes. Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks. Technical & Ways of Working Exposure to Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of mobile security best practices. Experience with App Store and Google Play Store release management.
