Are you an experienced Water Hygiene Remedial Engineer looking to secure an autonomous regional engineering role within an expanding compliance specialist?

A Leading Specialist in water compliance and hygiene is expanding its engineering operations across Southern England and seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Remedial Engineer to support an expanding portfolio of commercial, education, and public-sector sites. This is a pivotal role delivering high-standard plumbing remedials, dead-leg cutbacks, CWST refurbishments, and TMV servicing across the South, Home Counties, and London, offering direct technical autonomy, flexible PPM scheduling, and funded post-probation qualifications.

The Opportunity:

You will play a vital role in executing physical compliance modifications and eradicating water safety hazards across established regional client contracts, including major school groups. Your day-to-day remit involves:

• Executing core plumbing remedials, CWST remedials, minor pipework alterations, and dead-leg removals across educational, commercial, and public facilities.
• Servicing, testing, calibrating, replacing, and remediating thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) to ensure failsafe compliance.
• Carrying out HWSV and POU installations, system upgrades, rigorous inspections, and disinfection of domestic hot and cold water systems.
• Managing routine PPM site visits with the autonomy to schedule your own calendar, incorporating closed system dosing works where required.

• Base salary up to £40,000 (dependent on trade experience and qualifications).

Technical Essentials:

To be successful, you must demonstrate verified technical capability and practical engineering competence:

• Mandatory: NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Plumbing alongside a valid Unvented Hot Water Systems (G3) qualification.
• Compliance/Systems: Strong working knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 water hygiene compliance frameworks; closed dosing competence advantageous.
• Experience: Proven field track record executing water hygiene remedials, CWST rectifications, TMV servicing/remedials, system disinfections, and PPM inspections.
• Mobility: Valid UK Driving Licence with strategic regional access across the M3/M4 corridor (e.g., Reading, Bracknell, Camberley, Guildford, Slough, Maidenhead) or the South Coast.
