Multi-Skilled Engineer

to join our Engineering team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Carry out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance. Diagnose faults and minimise downtime across production equipment. Support continuous improvement, root cause analysis and reliability initiatives. Deliver engineering projects that improve efficiency and performance. Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standards. Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability and performance. Essential Time-served Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship. NVQ Level 3, BTEC or equivalent engineering qualification. Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC-controlled equipment. Experience of safe systems of work, risk assessments and root cause analysis. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Desirable HNC or equivalent qualification. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Experience in food manufacturing. Knowledge of CMMS, TPM, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Condition-based monitoring experience. IOSH/NEBOSH, FLT or MEWP certification. Why Join Us?
