Job Description:
We are seeking a Contract Senior FPGA Design Engineer with a focus on embedded hardware to join our team for an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing FPGA-based solutions for embedded systems. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into embedded hardware, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. Candidates must either possess valid security clearance or be willing to undergo the security clearance process.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize FPGA-based solutions for embedded hardware systems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate FPGA designs into embedded systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
Conduct thorough testing and verification of FPGA designs in simulation environments and on hardware platforms.
Troubleshoot and debug FPGA designs to ensure robustness and reliability.
Stay updated on the latest FPGA technologies, embedded hardware platforms, and industry trends.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in FPGA design and development, with a focus on embedded hardware systems.
Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog programming languages, with a strong understanding of FPGA synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis.
Hands-on experience with embedded hardware platforms and systems.
Familiarity with FPGA development tools such as Vivado or Quartus.
Ability to obtain or currently possess valid security clearance (SC or DV).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Contract Details:
