Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our local Brierley Hill client who are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their successful team.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and a 3pm finish on Fridays.

Duties and tasks will include:

Support APQP and NPI activities within the machine shop.
Generate PPAP documentation in line with customer requirements during NPI.
Support customer 8D and CAR (Corrective Action Report) requirements, working with customers and internal teams to ensure effective problem resolution and prevention of recurrence.
Review and analyse daily scrap data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain and update quality metric display boards and QOS reports.
Support and oversee internal and external calibration processes.
Develop and improve in-house calibration procedures and processes to reduce reliance on external calibration laboratoriesCandidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

Be expected to develop effective working relationships across all areas of the business and, where required, directly with customers and suppliers to ensure quality issues are resolved efficiently and effectively

SALARY IS £40-45K
