REED Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in the Peterborough area.

We are looking for confident, professional individuals who can deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged with their learning in the absence of the class teacher.

The Role

Supervising classes across a variety of subjects using work set by teaching staff

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Supporting students to remain on task and engaged in learning

Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress

Building positive relationships with students and school staff

Requirements

A degree-level qualification

Previous experience working within UK schools or the UK education sector

Strong classroom management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive and adaptable approach to work

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
