The Norbreck Castle proudly offers the Castles Restaurant as well as three bars: The Conservatory Bar, Copperface Jacks & the Java Lounge. The Norbreck is also home to the Norcalympia, a large venue that is the popular choice for conferences, events & wedding receptions. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Full Time Bar Manager on the team.
As Bar Manager, you will be required to;
Take full responsibility for stock and money on the bars.
Recruit, train, develop and manage all bar staff.
Ensure all staff work within the confines of the Licensing Law.
Effectively control stock movement and all money received.
Create a welcoming environment for customers.
Ensure consistent, high-quality beverages are served to customers.
Respond to customer complaints and queries appropriately.
Ensure the cleanliness of the bar facilities.
You will be required to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Responsible for Duty Manager duties when needed.
The successful candidate will have previous similar experience as a Bars Manager. You must be able to plan, rota and control wage costs within company guidelines. You must be flexible, enthusiastic, and able to build on your experience to assist in the continuing development of the Hotel.
