Maintenance Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our friendly team in a private care home. This is a full-time position, with occasional visits to other care home sites when additional support is required to ensure compliance, safety, and high standards of maintenance are maintained across our environments.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to maintaining high standards in a care environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Internal Maintenance: furniture, fixtures and fittings, equipment basic heating faultsGeneral Exterior: Maintain grounds & gardens, fences and furniture, clear snow and grit paths, clean all signs & lighting.Safety: Identify hazards and risks, testing of fire alarm, liaise with contractors onsite, maintain a maintenance book.
