The Warehouse Shift Manager will be responsible for managing daily 3PL warehousing operations on the 2pm-10pm shift, with full autonomy for the shift.
My client are a leading 3PL business, with multiple sites across the country.
The key responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Shift Manager based in Newcastle Upon Tyne will be:
Overseeing and managing daily warehousing operations, taking full accountability for the shift.
Driving productivity, monitoring KPIs and ensuring that they are hit.
Delegate tasks and manage the people on the shift, ensuring good team cohesion and completion of tasks.
Ensuring all H&S processes are followed, creating a safety-focused environment.
Carrying out people management tasks, such as scheduling, return to work meetings and disciplinaries.
The successful candidate for the role of Warehouse Shift Manager based in Newcastle Upon Tyne will have:
Experience working in warehousing/logistics.
Experience as a Shift Manager or similar within a warehousing environment.
Great people management skills.
Experience monitoring and driving KPIs.
Great knowledge of driving H&S in an operation.
The successful candidate for the role of Warehouse Shift Manager based in Newcastle Upon Tyne will receive:
A starting salary of £33,000.
A 2pm-10pm working schedule.
