Data Engineering Manager | Hybrid | Inside IR35 | £500 - £550 | Exeter

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing data engineering function within a predominantly Microsoft technology environment. This is a largely hands-off leadership role focused on team management, delivery oversight, and establishing best practices, while maintaining a strong understanding of modern data engineering technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of Data Engineers, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management.

Drive the successful delivery of data and analytics projects from a technical and strategic perspective.

Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, governance, and operational frameworks.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities, roadmaps, and technical solutions.

Ensure best practices across data engineering, architecture, quality, and security.
