Job Description

Are you an experienced Production or Manufacturing Engineer looking for a role where you can make a tangible impact on products, processes, and operational performance?

We're looking for a Senior Production Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team, taking a leading role in supporting manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring products are delivered efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a highly visible position that sits at the heart of the business, acting as the key technical interface between Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams. You'll play a critical role in product lifecycle management, configuration control, engineering change management, and manufacturing process improvement, helping to shape the future of innovative technology products.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Production Engineer, you will:

Act as the primary technical liaison between Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams

Lead the creation, validation, and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs), product structures, and part numbering systems

Own and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring effective implementation across the business

Drive configuration management activities, ensuring full product traceability and compliance

Take responsibility for manufacturing data packs and engineering documentation

Coordinate and implement mechanical and electrical/electronic product updates

Monitor component obsolescence and identify suitable replacement solutions to minimise supply chain risk

Develop and continuously improve assembly instructions and manufacturing processes

Lead investigations into production issues and implement corrective actions

Support Sales and Commercial teams with product configurations and technical data

Mentor junior engineers, technicians, and production personnel

Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance
